It’s not the first time that I don’t feel like making or crafting anything for Valentine, but in the end I just do. Most times a sudden inspiration strikes, but this time is different – this is something I’ve been meaning to try and Valentine is the perfect excuse to actually do it. What’s even better – this very easy craft takes only half an hour from start to finish.
For the “flowers” I first pushed some skewers into the chocolates. The petals are made of tissue paper cut into rectangles and wrapped around each chocolate. I then wrapped the skewer with cream ribbon to give it a finished look. I keep it simple and place the “flowers” in a clear jar ( it’s actually recycled sake bottle which is too pretty I just have to keep ) wrapped with baker’s twine.
This doesn’t just make a nice gift, but doubles as pretty decor as well. Until you eat the chocolates, that is. But still! I made it quite ahead of time, so I had some time to enjoy the sight of it on my desk. Make this for the chocolate addicts in your life!
