I’m a fan of Starbuck’s Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha but I think making a homemade version is the way to go. After all, I don’t run to Starbucks every time I crave for this festive drink. It’s a lot easier to make and enjoy it at the comfort of home. You could easily adapt this recipe to your liking, dairy or non-dairy milk, whole or low-fat milk, all-cream or all-milk, more or less or no sugar, etc.
Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha
1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup cream
2 tbs white chocolate chips
1 candy cane, crushed
1 candy cane, for garnish
1. Heat milk and cream over medium heat, add chocolate chips and crushed candy cane, stirring until chocolate chips and candy cane are completely melted.
2. Pour over coffee, dust with cocoa and garnish with candy cane.
